Tohoku Tsunami Hitting Shizugawa, Minami Sanriku
Steve Mendoza took this video from his evacuation point of the tsunami hitting the seaside town of Shizugawa, part of the city of Minami Sanriku, on March 11th.
Two frightening videos of the Tsunami from the 11th of March, the first video shows just how relaxed people where about what was happening until it was almost too late, transfixed almost.
The second video is much longer, you see the build up, the excitement and anticipation of something big about to happen, sirens and bells ringing and people stood around watching chatting and laughing, suddenly they witness the power and destructive force of the Tsunami, laughing is replaced by fear.
