Getting to the Bottom,
MrCometwatch has responded to the argument, Pleiades or Elenin with a new video below. He presents a very plausible explanation too.
How big and how bright is Pleiades from Stereo Behind?
Jupiter magnitude 2.66, ( lower the number the brighter the star/planet ).
Alcyone, brightest star of the Pleiades constellation magnitude 2.85, which according to MrCometwatch makes Jupiter 80 times brighter than Alcyone and 5 times brighter than Pleiades and Jupiter is around 900 million miles away as apposed to Pleiades, which is a staggering 43 million light years away!
